what makes me smile today...

aaaaa i love lists!

By now... you should know...

I like a good list.

one that orients you... motivates you... one that keeps track of what's been done... and what's left to attack...

I also... have more creative projects than I have time... and I find myself frustrated... with my list of hopeful to do's on that front...

Tonight I stumbled upon this... sure I should've been sleeping... instead of blog surfing... but look it all worked out... :)

let's see... I could make a house projects list... a crafting projects list... a personal projects list (lose weight... do a sprint tri)... anything I'm missing...

seriously. this kicked my bootie.

My goal. to finish. and just keep moving... as fast as my body would allow without passing out...

5.29 miles

my team of 4 fast men and me... made it up and down two mountains... up and over two 6ft fences... and completed various goofy challenges... AND I added 45 burpee's ... instead of beer... (WHAT?!?! I'm a nursing mother!) we finished right around an hour forty five....

I felt pretty good about where we were in the groupings with other teams around us... when I looked up and Rose and Corlyn were near... They might be my biggest cheerleaders... love those women!

I'm pretty certain Danny towed me most of the 5 miles... ;)

At one point Anel wrapped her arm around my lower back and ran faster than I... to help keep me going...

These are my people... that with a smile on their face... eagerly offer... without being asked...to lighten my load... while making theirs tougher...

I haven't decided yet... whether next year I get competitive (I mean... have more fun ;) )... or opt for support staff... :)

Either way... THIS YEAR was a BLAST...

There are piles everywhere... piles to sort... to purge... to put away... nicely...

This is my mess... well ... our mess...

I told Tim yesterday the dishes and clothes were yelling at me... and he kindly responded for me to tell them to shut up... and wait till tomorrow....

Everyone is snoring at the scheidler house... I've been in bed since 9:30p... Instead of editing photos or folding clean laundry... I'm sitting in bed... watching a movie... it was time for a break...

life has been moving too fast for me lately... I need a change of pace...

I'll be cutting back on my personal blog here... for the next few months...
